I have always had a head full of ideas and a passion for creating and I enjoy exploring  different techniques.

My  work can encompass both old and new, natural and handmade, with a desire to upcycle and create something visually appealing while at times incorporating the discarded and mundane.

As a mixed media textile artist, I will trial many mediums to convey the unwritten in my work.

An inquisitive mind, a love of biology and geography and outdoor activities in all weathers means I’m never short of subject matter.

I spent many years as an NHS professional and completed a City and Guilds Textile Diploma in my spare time.

 

I create large and small pieces, framed, hung and 3D.
