My work explores the many faceted worlds of human communication and interaction within a digital landscape.  I am fascinated by the iconography of modern technology and the way in which it assumes a value beyond its material cost.

 My inspiration is triggered by random glimpses of the here and now, from the racks of new phone covers jostling for space to the trailing cables that entrap their users. Underpinning the work is the idea of the digital human and how technology taps into the fundamental human need for our voices to be heard.

 

The pieces incorporate printed and hand stitched materials with digital technology that seeks to enhance the viewer’s interaction with the work and the ideas that it explores.
