My work has recently taken a new direction exploring issues and concepts for example Infant mortality. A new body of work has emerged informed by research into primary historical source materials both pictorial and written.  Innovation and the use of technology in my art practice have taken a back seat in favour of traditional techniques.  Archived artefacts plus domestic and decorative textiles are often reworked into exhibition pieces that challenge the viewer, provoking emotion and reflection.
